Vince Barwinski, born in Sydney, Australia, in 1962, is an Australian author and researcher of Polish descent, now based in Brisbane. With a passion for history—fueled by his Polish-born, German-raised father—Barwinski draws inspiration from his experiences teaching English in Taiwan and Poland, where he lived from 2004 to 2005. His book, The Pastor and the Matriarch of the German Underground and Their Times: A Polish Perspective, explores the life of German anti-Nazi Lutheran pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer, offering a unique historical perspective shaped by his Polish heritage.
