*The Power of Goals in Worship #Ramadan |

A 16-year-old boy in Madinah wakes up to the Adhan for Asr. As soon as he hears Allahu Akbar, he starts crying. Why? Because he fears he has missed the congregation. 💦 He rushes to make wudu and runs to the masjid... only to find people leaving. His heart sinks. Then, hope sparks in his heart. He remembers that another masjid prays Asr slightly later. He rushes there, climbs the stairs, and peeks inside. The congregation hasn’t started yet. Right there, among the scattered shoes, he falls into Sujud Ash-Shukr. He thanks Allah before entering and completing his Salah. Why was he so emotional? Because he heard the hadith of the Prophet ﷺ: 📖 “Whoever prays for forty days in congregation, attaining the opening takbeer, Allah will free him from two things: hypocrisy and the Hellfire.” (Tirmidhi 241, Hasan) This was his 40th day, and he thought he had failed; but Allah granted him success. This isn’t the story of a Sahabi or a great scholar. It’s a regular teenager who had a goal in his worship. This Ramadan, have goals in your ibadah. Set targets, track your progress, and push yourself just like we do in our daily lives. May Allah make us among those who strive in worship and attain sincerity. Ameen.
