Houston Preview - Cornfield Sports Pod 02/21/2024

The Cyclones gear up for their biggest basketball game of the season since their showdown against Auburn when they travel to Houston to play the Cougars. It's a fire vs ice matchup with Iowa State's offensive firepower against Houston's lock down defense.

The Twister Sisters also prepare for a big game against Baylor. The Clones have yet to get a win against a ranked opponent in women's basketball. A road trip to Waco could be that opportunity. A win would give the Cyclones a much needed boost as March approaches.

Iowa State wrestling went 1-1 last weekend, with nearly every bout going chalk. There were a couple of exceptions to that in the dual at UNI, particularly with Paniro Johnson's stalling allowing Colin Realbuto to win the bout. The Cyclones will compete in their final dual of the season tomorrow at Mizzou.
