STOP SEXUALIZING TEXAS KIDS

Christin Bentley is the committeewoman for Texas Senate District 1 at the State Republican Executive Committee. She has been an activist for several years in the effort to stop sexualizing Texas children. She was instrumental in writing and passing HB 900 in 2023 which aimed to remove pornographic material from school libraries. In this presentation, she discusses the opposition to that law from both school libraries and public libraries, and the current efforts in the 2025 Texas Legislature to strengthen and expand the laws to keep pornography away from children.
