The Armed Citizen 49 The Mass Shootings That Never Were

We know when an active shooter situation happens, people are killed. Sometimes, that number is high. We also know when an armed citizen (police, security, you or I) who's there at that moment intervenes, less people are killed. What we can't measure is the difference between those two facts. Three people were killed by the Greenwood Park Mall shooter before Elisjsha Dicken ended the threat. We will never know how many people that shooter would have killed if that armed citizen hasn't been in the right place at the right time.
