Building a DIY Hoop House in Italy (and why you should too)

We pick up where we left off in the last video, getting the end frames built. I wanted to make sure I had a sturdy surface to staple the plastic to as well as a flat surface for the end sheets of plastic which is why I landed on this design. I didn't want to wrap and fold the plastic over the ends as I've seen in other hoop house designs.

We have high hopes for a good crop in the DIY hoop house once it is fully planted and eventually covered in plastic this fall. This is a much larger area to work in than our greenhouse which will be relegated to being a winter salad garden using hydroponics - well our interpretation of hydroponics anyway. 🙂
