The Halo: An Icon of Divine Connection and Radiant Protection

Across the beautiful tapestry of human faith and tradition, the halo has emerged as a powerful and enduring symbol in Buddhist, Vedic, and Zoroastrian art and iconography. Commonly depicted as a radiant circle or glow around the heads of saints, deities, and enlightened beings, the halo symbol goes beyond mere artistic embellishment to signify profound spiritual and energetic truths.

Similarly, in Buddhist iconography, the halo graces the images of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, symbolising their spiritual enlightenment and boundless wisdom. It symbolises liberation and the great awakening... Moksha!

It illuminates and emphasises the energetic and physiological transformation that can occur when we conserve and work with the creative force - through internal alchemy we can attain higher states of spiritual and energetic awareness. The radiant circle around the heads of the great masters is not merely a decorative motif but a reflection of the inner light that emanates from their enhanced and enlightened nervous system. This halo of energy signifies the protective aura that shields them from negative influences and aligns them with the divine source... the Goddess, God, the higher powers... our higher selves.

It relates to inner enlightenment and invites us to contemplate the radiant potential within ourselves and to strive for a deeper connection to the divine, inspiring us to walk the narrow path of ancient wisdom alluded to in the subtle teachings of our ancestors.
