NT Framework 76 - Indwelling

Tomorrow we will focus on a second work of the Spirit; indwelling. This is distinct but related to regeneration. Regeneration is the imagery of creation, but indwelling is the imagery of temple. In one the space is created for the other to dwell. Temple is the concept of a meeting place. The world is corrupt, so God has to create a holy temple in which to dwell and that is what you are.

There are often visitors or people you may not know on Sunday morning. The best thing you can do is show you are Spirit-filled by introducing yourself, asking them who they are and where they are from. This will show them you appreciate them and help people feel loved, which is a fruit of the Spirit.

Let’s not just go to church, let’s be the church,
