Erin O'Loughlin is the Sr Director of Training for the Association of Certified Financial Crime Specialists (ACFCS), where she trains financial institutions (FI)s how to detect suspicious transactions inside their firms, to include terrorist financing, fraud, money laundering, and human trafficking/smuggling transactions.

She has been in this industry since 2011, working inside multiple FIs, including a large cryptocurrency exchange, investigating these suspicious transactions.

Prior to her experience in the FI industry, she was an Operations Officer inside the CIA from 2000-2010, where she served as a counter terrorism officer for five of those years, with two years in active war zones, pursuing the CT target.
