PM is ‘running’ from delivering a budget: Peter Dutton

Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has accused Prime Minister Anthony Albanese of “running” from delivering a budget before the election as he “doesn’t have a good story to tell the Australian public” about his track record as leader of Australia.

“The Prime Minister obviously doesn’t want to get to a budget now – I think the Prime Minister is running from the budget because has doesn’t have a good story to tell,” Mr Dutton said during a press conference on Sunday.

“The cost of everything is going up, and the prime minister doesn’t have a good story to tell the Australian about what has happened in the last three years, let alone what is happening over the next three years.”
