“Affordable” humanoid robot

Chinese robotics company Unitree Robotics has introduced another humanoid robot to its lineup. The G1 is a compact, foldable humanoid bot built for research and innovation. Standing 4.3 feet tall and weighing around 77 lbs, it’s packed with high-tech features. Equipped with a depth camera and LiDAR, the G1 can navigate environments and even climb stairs. It features 23 degrees of motion, allowing for smooth, human-like movement. Optional three-fingered hands enable delicate tasks and precise object handling. Powered by a 9,000mAh battery, the G1 runs for up to two hours per charge. Starting at around $16,000, it’s one of the most affordable humanoid robots available. Would you buy one for your home?
