2/23/25 - Another Day Alive

An acquaintance passed away yesterday, his name was Dean; he was a fellow addict in recovery.

Today I'm sharing this message in honor of his message: live for today, tomorrow is not guaranteed.

Even though I'm communicating my own needs here, this post is in honor of Dean whom I never got the chance to meet, but with whom I quickly identified after seeing a post of him holding a sign looking for a job. That was his ego death and self betterment journey. He inspired me.

Today wasn't even guaranteed, but here you are

You don't get a second chance
