Episode 591: The three phases of salvation the New Birth Part 3

Hello everyone. In today's Bible study we take an in depth look at the three phases of salvation which is the New Birth.

The number one question everyone should ask with respect to salvation or going to heaven is, how? How can I go to heaven? Then there should be a natural progression that leads to the next question, what? What must I do?

The Bible answers these questions in great detail. God does not leave it to chance, He provides the answers. Then why is there so much confusion around God's requirement for humans to enter heaven?

The simple answer is US. What? What do you mean by "us"?

No my friend, it's not what I mean by "us", it is what God has said concerning "us". The LORD God declares that every human through conception is born into a particular kingdom. We are all born into the kingdom of Adam and Satan. Not only that, as children of this kingdom, we have the nature of the father and king of this kingdom.

First Adam's nature of death, that is, a sinful rebellious nature that hates God with every fiber of its existence.

Second Satan's nature of wickedness, that is, all that we desire and can ever desire is evil continually without the ability to fully fill our appetite for the lusts of evil.

According to God, that kind of person, "us", cannot be redeemed. There is only a single recourse, the person that sin must DIE! Death is the only remedy.

Whoa, wait a minute, Kevin. Are you telling me that there is no hope of obtaining salvation? No, I didn't say that.

Whew, thank God for that? God said that! C'mon man.

My sentiment exactly! Yet, the LORD God has given a single remedy for all humans. It's called the new birth - born again - born from above. God offers this salvation without charge because you and I cannot pay the price which is death.

Therefore God Himself, took upon Himself human flesh with blood, killed that body as payment for our sin then raised that body from the dead that we may have life. God did that, alone, because we couldn't do it.

This new birth places us in another kingdom with a different King, Jesus, with a new nature. We now have the nature of our Father and King which is righteous and holy.

This new nature and salvation is GIVEN to us in three phases, human spirit, human soul, and human body.
