Dark Souls Remastered | Freeing Laurentius of the Great Swamp and exhausting his dialogue

He is stuck in a barrel in the Depths. After freeing him, he will show up in Firelink Shrine. He can provide you with a Pyromancy Flame and teach pyromancies.

It is better to free him by rolling rather than swinging a weapon. I've accidentally killed him before doing the latter.
