Isaac sent his son Jacob to their ancestral hometown in Aram to find a wife for himself to continue the mission God has given their father Abraham. He should not marry someone from their land of journey, which was Canaan, which his twin brother actually did. God guided him to the Harran and found a beautiful cousin, Rachel. He was gladly accepted by his uncle Laban. He asked for Rachel to be his wife. After working for seven years, Laban cheated Jacob and gave Leah instead of Rachel. Jacob accepted that he had been cheated, as he was a cheater before. Determined to earn Rachel, he agreed to work for Laban for another seven years to pay the debt of dowry for Rachel, which he completed. When you are determined to get the love of your life, you will fight for her.
