You may not indulge in so-called “big” sins such as fornication, adultery, drugs or alcohol but the weapon of offense can cause even greater damage if we are not careful. If we are walking around with anger, bitterness and resentment it will make us sick and cause great damage. When we hold on to grudges we are tormented. Forgiveness must be achieved - no matter what has been done to us. Offense is a bait of satan, and is one of the most common baits he uses to trap the saints of God. (2 Tim 2:24-26) Offended people can be divided into two categories - those who have been wronged and those who believe they have been wronged. Pride can keep the spirit of offense “propped” up and keep one blinded from the truth God wants to reveal. Sometimes we just have to tell the Lord, “I’m willing to forgive and give up this offense but I need Your help!”. And He will, because He knows our hearts. Deliverance prayers and ministry conclude this practical teaching that helps us “walk the walk” and not just “talk the talk”!
