Two tigers argue over whether Heaven is above and Hell is below or vice versa. To settle their dispute, they consult a wise monk. The monk explains that neither is correct—Heaven and Hell are not physical places but states of mind. Anger and negativity create a personal Hell, while peace and compassion bring about Heaven. Realizing this, the tigers apologize, reconcile, and learn that raising their consciousness transforms their reality.
From here we can learn that Heaven and Hell are not outside us; they exist within our minds. Our thoughts and emotions shape our experience of life.
