Ex-Girlfriend is Convinced That Laws Don’t Apply To Her

On a late Saturday night, officers responded to an apartment complex in reference to a disorderly female causing disturbance. The call was made by her ex-boyfriend who reported that she was banging and screaming outside his residence demanding he let her in. Apart from being openly hostile towards the officers, the female also had a strong odor of alcohol coming from her suggesting that she was pretty drunk. The female suffered a bloody injury to her chin when an officer slammed her face on the patrol vehicle. While she didn’t pay much attention to it and continued resisting, the officers finally noticed some blood splattered on the car’s window and decided to take the female to the hospital. At the hospital, two officers held the female down on the bed while the staff administered help. She continued resisting until she was sedated and restrained. The female was charged with aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, and resisting arrest.
