Under the leadership and direction of President Trump, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is being exposed. Misuse of funds, mismanagement, waste, and fraud only scratch at the surface of some dark and corrupt underlying truths.
And with this exposure comes an even more terrifying reality of elected politicians around the globe. Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, was best known as an "actor and comedian" before his tenure as the leader of that country. He starred in a television series called "Servant of the People" where he played
the role of a teacher who unexpectedly becomes a world leader.
Vladimir Putin of Russia was a stuntman for Leningrad film studio and appeared in several war films in the 1970's. Luiz Lula da Silva of Brazil appeared in at least two films over the years and is tied to one biographical film that he wasn't in. Though he is not a professional actor per se, he is worth mentioning here. Emmanuel Macron, the leader of France, has an extensive background in theater acting so much so that he met his future wife Brigitte Macron during this time, while in school. Drama workshops and rewriting plays are a part of his story in acting. Before Georgia Meloni came to power in Italy, Silvio Berlusconi served multiple terms as Prime Minister
and was known as a media entrepreneur and produced films under one of Italy's largest media companies. Xi Jinping of China has appeared in several documentaries and propaganda films over the years. Justin Trudeau from Canada worked as a drama teacher and was a cameo in the Canadian T.V. movie "The Great War" before entering politics. And in the United States we have a long history of former media personalities turned politician that include
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Ronald Reagan, as well as President Donald Trump. Other honorable mentions include Joko Widodo of Indonesia, Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel, and former Pakistani leader Imran Khan though these are much more tangential in nature.
While not part of DOGE or the USAID happenings, this revelation does ask of the most reasonable among us whether this is just a coincidence or an intentional manipulation of public perception on a much deeper level.
