### **Easy Chicken Teriyaki – Better Than Takeout! 🍛🔥**
This **quick & easy Chicken Teriyaki** is way better than takeout! It’s juicy, sweet, savory, and packed with umami flavor—plus, it’s ready in just **20 minutes**! Serve it with rice or stir-fried veggies for a perfect meal.

### **🥢 Ingredients:**
#### *For the Chicken:*
- 2 chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 1 tbsp oil (vegetable or sesame oil)
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
#### *For the Teriyaki Sauce:*
- ¼ cup soy sauce (low sodium preferred)
- 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar (or white vinegar)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil (optional)
- 2 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
- 1 tsp ginger (grated)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
#### *For Garnish:*
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions

### **👩🍳 Instructions:**
#### **1️⃣ Cook the Chicken**
1. Heat **1 tbsp oil** in a pan over medium-high heat.
2. Add chicken pieces, season with salt & pepper, and cook until golden brown (about **5-6 minutes** per side).
3. Remove from the pan and set aside.
#### **2️⃣ Make the Teriyaki Sauce**
1. In the same pan, add **soy sauce, honey (or brown sugar), rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic**.
2. Stir and bring to a simmer for **1-2 minutes**.
#### **3️⃣ Thicken the Sauce & Combine**
1. Mix **2 tsp cornstarch with 2 tbsp water** and add to the sauce.
2. Stir until the sauce thickens (**about 1 minute**).
3. Return the cooked chicken to the pan and coat it well in the teriyaki sauce.
#### **4️⃣ Serve & Enjoy**
- Garnish with sesame seeds & chopped green onions.
- Serve hot with **steamed rice, stir-fried veggies, or noodles**.
