AR-0135: So we're back on that particular kind of bullhitsa that Steven Seagal made a name for himself producing during the dark days of the 2000s DTV [direct-to-video] market.

Here Seagal plays a CIA-contracted Merc who liberates a small island nation from a military junta [as usual], who is forced into doing some nasty business by a corrupt financier, the nasty backer not realising exactly who he's messing with as Seagal begins an elaborate counter-operation to defeat the bad guy and rescue his dead friend's family the Wâš“ kidnapped to coerce him with...

A typically bad piece of Steven Seagal schlock, although it is amusingly daft for the Seagal masochists like me to enjoy, and while the story is more run down than a hooker's cervix it at the least makes some degree of sense.

For some reason the Australian DVD issued back in the day was a direct port of the American DVD, something we Aussies were not used to back in 2006...

My Grade: D+ [Disappointing]
