Seamus Bruner calls for release of FBI Director Comey’s surveillance ops on Trump’s 2016 campaign

“They were up to so many dirty tricks”: Seamus Bruner, Government Accountability Insititute's Director of Research, alleges FBI Director James Comey ran a honeypot operation on President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign. “It’s unsettling. I guess it’s a feature of running an intelligence agency, like the FBI or CIA, to try to entrap people. You just would hope it would be the country’s enemies, not our candidates for president like Donald Trump,” he says. “So we hope to get more information on that. I mean, that was a real shocker.”
