Big Raven

...landed beside my van not noticing me.
It checked out a black plastic bag on the ground which it must have thought was something else that it could eat. Then it walked in front of my van and flew away.
February 27 2025 in Elk & Beaver Lakes Park a few kilometers north of Victoria BC.
Unlike Crows the Ravens are hard to get this close to. That's why I like Crows so much.
