Hector worked as an undercover agent inside Mexico infiltrating the Guadalajara Cartel, where he discovered that the CIA was protecting Cartel Bosses and Drug Operations to fund the Contras, putting his life at risk. His partner, Kiki Camarena, was kidnapped and tortured to death for locating and destroying a large marijuana field, worth millions, that was being overseen in a joint venture by the Cartel and CIA.
