Rep. Andy Ogles proposes amendment allowing Trump to serve third term

Representative Andy Ogles (R-TN) says he has introduced legislation to amend the Constitution, allowing President Donald Trump to serve a third term. “It’s a unique time in history when you have someone who was elected president, they didn’t win reelection, and then the American people say ‘Oh crap, we messed up. We want President Trump’,” he explains. “It’s only happened one other time in history and so I think this is the opportunity to let President Trump and JD Vance serve two terms.” Rep. Ogles adds that it will take a decade or more to unwind the “damage” that happened under former President Joe Biden.
