The Cane Corso is known mostly as a guard dog who’s become popular as of recent years for its appearance and guarding instincts. However, few are aware of its long history as a catch dog. It was in fact known in Italy as the Cane de Presa, which means catch dog. It has a very long history depicted in old writings and photographs as the Italian catch dog, a fearless gladiator dog. Here at Diamond Grit, we’re proud to continue this long tradition and history with this elegant, powerful breed, the Cane de Presa, aka the Cane Corso. Hope you enjoy!
