I Finally Fixed the 1958 Philco Predicta: Project Update

Just a super-quickee from TechHeart - this is a project that I've worked on over the past couple years. This 1946 Philco Predicta Holiday came to me as a non-working unit for $100!
It was refurbished by changing out all the tubes and vacuums. After that, I was still having power supply issues - it kept popping tubes! Enter Mr. Predicta of Dallas, TX and he sorted the television back to perfect condition - no more power supply issues and replaced the affected tubes.
Once it came home and was sorted, I set out to install a Raspberry Pi. I chose to use a capacitive touch sensor instead of a button, so I wouldn't need to modify the antique. The touch sensor goes off thru the wood of the Predicta.
I went through a few iterations of Python code, but am almost satisfied now; when you power on, some images are displayed to set the mood and then random videos begin to play. If there's no user input, they will continue to play randomly - but if you press (actually, it's when its released) the touch sensor, a new random video plays.
Rinse, repeat - this Philco now has new life!!
