Christian Apologist Sam Shamoun explains why in the Bible it records, the worst sense of the profits, such as John almost committing idolatry by worshiping the angel and revelation and other stories like in the Old Testament, where David takes someone else’s wife and tries to cover up and the stories are to show that you cannot trust in a man alone, and you must trust God because God is the one preserving them with the spirit to not make mistakes and without his spirit they are prone to committing mistakes and since because at the end of the day, they are still man and we shouldn’t give our allegiance to someone that much in the case of betrayal, but this is to also show that God can redeem anyone and there’s no big thing that God can forgive through the forgiveness of Jesus
