This is a track from The Colours Of Life, our 26th album, recorded in 2013. Music by Andy Martin. Novak was in the year below me in Amery Hill School. I quickly developed a loathsome passion for the lad although, being 14, I didn’t properly comprehend its vile nature. Although 7 months my junior, he was considerably more intelligent and a truly vicious fighter. His father was an author who introduced me to the delights of modern fiction. The photograph of Novak was taken by 10 year old Rachel Drummond who wanted to be a photographer when she grew up.
