Additionally, the UK has committed a £1.6 billion export credit guarantee to provide Ukraine with over 5,000 air defense missiles, strengthening its defense capabilities.

This move comes amid growing European efforts to take charge of peace negotiations following a controversial meeting between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
