Line 5 permits upheld.

The Mackinac Straits Corridor Authority met in Lansing Friday to hear updates on the Line 5 Tunnel Project. Last week, The Michigan Court of Appeals upheld the state permit to begin construction. MDOT recently met with the US Army Corps of Engineers and says a draft of the environmental impact statement is still expected this spring. The next MSCA meeting is scheduled for June 27 in Saint Ignace. David Barr Michigan News Source.
