Hold The Applause For Trump The "Peacemaker"

Ed Curtin, author of several books and numerous articles, joins me to talk about the irony of Trump wanting to be remembered as the “Peacemaker President.” We talked about the “spectacle” that has consumed everyone, including the media and who the creators of the spectacle really are, and it’s not the USA.

We also discussed the role of the omnipresent Elon Musk, and the billionaires who are surrounding Trump. What’s up with that agenda?

Will the US/NATO war against Russia be resolved when the goal has always been to destroy Russia and take down Putin? Is Trump trying to deploy a Trojan Horse? Will Putin fall for it?

Trump’s theatrical antics will persist, however, and Trump and Putin will probably eventually meet and strike a deal on Russia’s terms, but if Russia doesn’t want to be tricked again, it should beware the possibility of a Trump Trojan horse.

Ed concluded the discussion with, “I think the talk of a Trump revolution in favor of peace and democracy is hyperbolically irresponsible. It is unworthy of good journalism that requires prudence and patience when the powerful pitch their deals. The propaganda from the Biden administration and their mainstream media accomplices should have taught everyone that. But the appeal of a savior is very powerful.”
