The Treaty of Lausanne documented that 100 years after Turkey 🇹🇷 lost the First World War (WW-1) Turkey 🇹🇷 would get all its territories back which it had to give up for 100 years. This should have taken place on July 2023. These territories were huge, including all of Northern Africa, Egypt and the Middle East and Jemen. But in February 1923, a huge earthquake struck Turkey 🇹🇷 as a warning to refrain from demanding all its territories back.
