The Most Irresponsible Mother Ever

While on vacation, this woman found a 2-year-old boy, whom she initially mistook for a girl, wandering near a busy road with a large canal nearby. The parents' negligence was evident, but you'd be surprised by how they reacted to losing their child in the end. The child's diaper was soiled, and she told the woman that her mother was asleep. Although the woman knocked on the doors the child pointed to, no one answered. The officer eventually found the right house, but pay close attention to what the mother says, as she makes it seem like it's a regular occurrence. When deputies asked the mother when her child had last eaten, she replied that he had eaten some cereal the previous night. Upon searching the house, officers found open containers of alcohol and doors without any child locks. The mother admitted that she had tested positive for meth, alcohol, and THC during an on-site test a few days earlier. The officers decided it was best to arrest her for child neglect. The Department of Children and Families took custody of the child while the mother was charged with child neglect without great bodily harm.
