Lamont Roach Confirms NYSAC Considering Overturning Draw vs Tank Davis

In a recent X post, Lamont Roach hinted that the NYSAC, better known as the New York State Athletic Commission, may do the right thing and reverse the outcome of the Gervonta Tank Davis fight.

The rule states, and Tank confirmed he should have been disqualified for stopping mid-fight by taking a knee and sticking his body through the ropes to get his face wiped during the round.

In essence, taking a time out in the middle of the 9th round. Once any fighter, no matter the race, color, or creed, decides to take a time out and stick his body through the ropes to get their face wiped by their trainer, that's an automatic disqualification.

It doesn't matter if it's your favorite fighter. It doesn't matter what the excuse or reason was. If any fighter does this, it's supposed to be an automatic disqualification.

Tank-ah-maniacs are upset at the Hairstylist and Lamont Roach. Why? I have no idea. Their lust for Tank Davis is at an all-time high. Their feelings are being trampled on at the moment.

However, Lamont Roach was the one who took a knee after being hit with a right cross and two jabs, then proceeded to take a knee and turn his back on the referee and his opponent.

Then proceeded to stick his head through the ropes, advised his trainer to wipe his face in the middle of the round. The Tank-Ah-Maniacs would be up in arms right now.

It doesn't make sense no matter how much you try to Ni**a-Splain this. Instead, you tank-Ah-Maniacs just say you have a double standard for Tank.

I'd rather you Tank-Ah-Maniacs admit that your love for Tank won't allow you to be objective and honest. Tank-Ah-Maniac YouTube Channels like Fagnon, SheGo, Crack Paw, Knockout, Angryman Podcast, and others are doing a terrible job trying to spin this bullsh*t.

The more videos they make trying to defend their Boo, the worst it looks. The NYSAC should do the right thing in this matter, just like they did the right thing in suspending Ryan Garcia for cheating on April 20th, 2024.

Referee Steve Willis should also be questioned about why he allowed the fight to continue after Tank stuck his head between the ropes to get his trainer to wipe his face.

Even Dan Rafael said Tank should have been disqualified, and the knee should have been counted as a knockdown.

When grown men attack a hairstylist on behalf of their fighter, all because they blamed the hairstylist for taking a knee, taking a timeout, and whipping his face mid-round.
