Waves Restaurant makes a splash with new concept

The Waves Restaurant on West Chippewa in downtown Buffalo offers bright colors, an "under the ocean" motif and a new concept. "It's an all you can eat concept" according to owner Manh Le. You won't find a buffet. Servers bring the food to the table but you get to put in your own orders using a high tech digital menu order pad. The orders are cooked fresh in the kitchen or made quickly at the sushi bar.  The menu includes Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese dishes and there's a different special everyday. The food is served in small portions so you cn literally eat your way through the entire menu.
