Petrified Nut!

This rock appears to be a piece of petrified wood or possibly a fossilized seed or nut, rather than a modern, non-petrified nut. Petrified wood or fossils like this form when organic material is replaced by minerals over thousands or millions of years, often preserving the structure of the original material. The texture, coloration (browns, yellows, and orange hues), and the way it’s been cut or broken suggest it could be a cross-section of something like a petrified seed, nut, or even a small branch or root.
