We Need to Talk About What is Going On With Shrek 5

The first trailer for Shrek 5 was revealed and it hasn't gone over well. Everything about it seems off; the animation, the color grading and the new voice cast. It's so bad that Donkey at Universal Studios Orlando is taking shots at the teaser.

The animation is clearly different and incongruent with other entries in the franchise that goes well beyond technological advancements. If Dreamworks doesn't do a Sonic the Hedgehog and make some changes before release on Christmas Day 2026, they will be in for a terrible surprise.

Oh, and more Zendaya in established franchises, how wonderful...
