Alexios, a mercenary navigating the tumultuous period of the Peloponnesian War in Ancient Greece, searching for their family while battling against a secretive organization called the Cult of Kosmos, all while uncovering ancient Isu technology and the mysteries of their own lineage; the modern-day story follows Layla Hassan, an Assassin, as she uses the Animus to explore this historical period and locate the Staff of Hermes Trismegistus.
