Matt has spent over 35 years shaping the world of surfing journalism, from his influential work as Senior Contributing Editor at SURFER Magazine to writing and co-producing the Columbia Tri-Star film In God's Hands. 

Beyond the waves, he’s a dedicated humanitarian, bringing aid to disaster zones worldwide while continuing his environmental activism and editorial leadership from his home in Bali.
