EU - Three Unthinkable Options To Restore Europe's Geopolitical Standing

Sylvia Demarest joins me to discuss the unthinkable for Europe, plus Trump’s initial success in rapprochement with Russia on several levels.

Can Trump make a deal with Russia to end the war in Ukraine? We both believe that Russia cannot compromise. But, there are other major things happening. For instance, Russia is willing to broker a meeting between the USA and Iran. Trump needs an off ramp from the war in Ukraine before he “owns it.”

And then there is what to do about China. The USA cannot win a war against either China or Russia. Will “common sense” prevail and find the USA joining BRICS?

There are lots of obstacles and complex issues to overcome before we can allow ourselves to be too optimistic. However, just restoring relations with Russia will be a major success.
