A Showdown Between Two Troublemakers

Officers responded to a gas station in reference to two males physically fighting in the middle of the street. Upon arrival, the officer observed two males moving into the parking lot, one appeared to be chasing the other. The chasing subject was brandishing a large plastic trash can.

The officer exited his patrol car and gave verbal orders for both parties to stop where they were. One subject named Christopher continued to walk towards the entrance of the gas station and the other subject named Anthony continued to follow him. Anthony was ordered to put down the trash can multiple times but he persistently refused. The officer pulled the can from Anthony’s grasp and ordered him to move to the ground. Anthony ignored the initial and secondary orders before finally going to the ground. Then he began to pull his belongings from his pockets and throw them.
