Breaking Free from Unhealthy Relationship

Officers were dispatched to 1816 Flagler Ave. to the report of a woman known as Mary Elaine who had been involved in a physical altercation with her ex-boyfriend Kyle. Mary Elaine said that she had dated Kyle on and off for a couple of months (2-3) and the incident began when Kyle arrived at her residence.

Everything was going well at the beginning but things changed when they got into an argument because Kyle was messaging other women. They got physical when Mary Elaine grabbed Kyle’s phone.

In the officer’s attempts to detain Kyle, he became belligerent. While speaking to him, the officer observed a smell of alcohol emanating from him, and he became more agitated at the officer.
