Former US Ambassador to Denmark Carla Sands has told Sky News that President Trump "has no intention" of sending troops to Ukraine.

She welcomes the commitment of European countries and the UK to boost defence spending - but does not want the US "in Ukraine or anywhere near Ukraine."
