Following the Sun’s light to Earth. 8 min 20 sec.

According to an advanced physics book, the Sun’s light is exactly the same as the light from a flashlight. Maybe this really is the Twilight zone. I am apologising to each and every person I have ever accused of not having much common sense for believing the Sun’s light takes 8 minutes and 20 seconds to reach Earth. After finding the words in a physics book, that clearly states the Sun’s light is no different from the light radiating from a simple lighter, it has obviously made me aware that accusing people of a lack of common sense, when it is clearly something they were taught as children, is totally inappropriate. I apologise once again, to each and every person, for my insensitive comments. I always cast my mind back to the claims of Roemer measuring a light delay, as Io slipped from behind Jupiter, back in 1676. Roemer, with only a 1600’s telescope, and with no accurate time keeping devices, was somehow able to do back then, what I couldn’t accomplish now, with a modern day telescope. Understanding that the children are taught this from an early age, has made me realise this has absolutely nothing to do with their common sense. If this is a reality that they’re taught, it is now also obvious why they all think I’m the crazy person. So once again. I apologise unreservedly to each and every person who I have accused of having a common sense deficiency. My comments were totally inappropriate, and on this subject, it will never happen again. Peace.
