ing Saul becomes a "Don Quixote" like character chasing the windmills of false enemies. What false enemy are you struggling against while ignoring the real enemy? The Apostle Paul stated in Ephesians 6 that we "wrestle not against flesh and blood", but against power forces of darkness in high places." The real enemy is Satan and our own fleshly desires that conflict with God's will for our lives. Saul wasted years pursuing an individual who was never his enemy while Israel's enemies were raiding and plundering in Israel. Saul sought David's death to try to thwart God's stated will to remove Saul and his house from the throne. Are you fighting a false enemy and ultimately fighting against God and His will?
