The Times notes that Cox's attorney, Derek A. Schwartz, has since submitted a letter to Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi demanding an investigation into the tags.

Each tag pertains to a ballot box or bag that can hold 2,500 ballots. Based on these numbers, an estimated 37,500 ballots may have been tampered with, Cox alleges.

"Based on having 15 tags, that could mean that approximately 37,500 ballots could have been tampered with," his lawyer wrote to Bondi.
