"Jason of Star Command" was a live-action space adventure series from Filmation, running from 1978-1979. The show followed the daring exploits of Jason and his team as they battled the villainous Dragos. The first season consisted of 15-minute segments while the second shifted to half-hour episodes. Inspired by "Space Academy," it repurposed sets and props from that earlier show. Despite its high budget for a Saturday morning program, it cut costs by reusing music and running repeats.
