Chris Barnard: Environmentalists are forcing US to rely on foreign adversaries for uranium

American Conservation Coalition President Chris Barnard says unleashing America’s nuclear revolution requires cutting back regulations for domestic uranium mining. “On average, it takes 29 years to open a new mine in America. It’s the regulation, it’s the litigation, it’s the environmental groups that are stopping us from doing this, so we end up being reliant on countries like Russia and other countries that probably aren’t our best allies,” he says.
