The Vedic Chakra System, the Planets and the Principle of Correspondence

Planets are attributed to different qualities within us. The seven objects seen in the night sky other than the stars are the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Moon, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn; these were considered the Gods of the ancient world. They represent the seven chakras, energy wheels, or vortex within the body, different upwelling energy from the glands. Therefore, the qualities of the Zodiac are qualities that need to be developed.
